The Open Mike held on 8th December, 2010 by the English department drew the attention from other students. The activities included four sessions in total, namely the mini drama ‘How Friends Get Together’, the introduction of simple sentences with frequently-used prepositions, the poem-sharing session and the last but not least, the quiz session. In the poem-sharing part, students recited 3 poems in corresponding order. Their lively performance caught the hearts of every audience in the spot. The quiz competition was an interactive game aiming at getting everybody involved. The vigorous responses from the students showed their active participation In the mini drama performance, the vital message was to alleviate the tensions among friends due to arguments. To sum up, the activity ended in a satisfactory way and has achieved the goal of building up a well-integrated environment in Ka Chi.
